Blink 182 is an American rock band formed in 1992 in Poway, San Diego, California. The band consists of bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker, and guitarist and vocalist Matt Skiba.
In the 1990s, they played an important role in the development of pop-punk; their fast-paced punk rhythms combined with pop music melodies helped popularize this genre.
